Achievement for Africa - Integr8 IT a finalist in four awards

Integr8 IT, South Africa’s largest privately owned national BEE ICT network integration and infrastructure management specialist, has been nominated as a finalist in four award categories in the African ICT Achievers Awards 2007. The event is widely regarded as the ICT sectors’ own ‘Oscar’ awards and reflects general industry sentiment towards corporate and individual achievement.

The national company, with its headquarters in Johannesburg, Gauteng, and satellite offices in the Western Cape and Kwa-Zulu Natal, boasts a client and partner network that stretches throughout South Africa, into Africa, Europe and the United States of America.

Its success in building corporate networking infrastructure, solution focused managed services and strategy product/ infrastructure integration continues to receive local and international acclaim.

This year, according to confirmation from the organisers of the African ICT Achievers Awards 2007, Integr8 IT is an African ICT Achievers Finalist in the following categories: Top ICT Workplace Provider; Most Innovative ICT Company; Top Private Sector CIO and Top ICT Business Man.

Each category in the awards features its own set of criteria against which candidates or nominee companies are measured. The process is stringent and includes the provision of documented case studies and interviews.

“We are particularly pleased to be in contention for several awards. Moreover it is encouraging to note that Integr8 IT continues to receive acknowledgement from the industry as far as its competency, skills and capacity as a modern ICT-focused workplace is concerned,” comments Robert Sussman, joint MD at Integr8 IT.

Sussman is in agreement with fellow executive directors who collectively believe that Integr8 ITs internally conceptualised and developed Nerve CentreTM has done much to elevate the company’s profile in the market.

“This is really the epicentre of what we are all about and why we do what we do,” quips Sussman. “It represents the front line of our global managed service portfolio and enables us to deliver across the entire spectrum of IT related market requirements.”

To date Integr8 IT has received top level accreditation by many global technology vendor partners including Microsoft, HP, Cisco, 3Com; Citrix, Computer Associates, and other industry leaders.

This has also added strength to the company’s offering in the market.

Sussman is confident of Integr8 IT’s chances at the Awards and points to the company past successes in these awards, including its win of the Top Private CIO of the Year 2005 and its nomination as a finalist in three categories in 2006 including ICT Workplace Provider of the Year.
