National ICT integrator goes vertical to service travel sector

Integr8 IT, South Africa’s largest privately owned national BEE ICT network integration and infrastructure management specialist, has established a fully autonomous business silo focused exclusively on developments within the travel industry.

The Integr8 IT Travel Vertical is the services division within the company that is responsible for the entire spectrum of proactive service and technology infrastructure management to directly assist Amadeus Southern Africa GTD (Pty) Ltd., a Global Distribution System (GDS) and technology provider servicing the global travel market.

The long-term relationship between Amadeus Southern Africa GTD (Pty) Ltd. and Integr8 IT was strengthened at the beginning of the year when the travel services company further enhanced its complete African outsource partnership and service contract.

One of the main advantages of this partnership is the access that Amadeus Southern Africa GTD (Pty) Ltd. clients have to Integr8 IT’s acclaimed Nerve CentreTM - an always-on, advanced, high-tech customer support and management hub based on the latest communications and digital relationship management software and infrastructure.

Amadeus Southern Africa GTD (Pty) Ltd. recently announced a change in its management structure with the formal appointment of marketing manager, Peter Long, as the company’s General Manager.

This will only reinforce the relationship going forward says Robert Sussman, joint managing director at Integr8 IT.

“Both Integr8 IT and Amadeus have grown substantially in recent years. We have worked with Peter Long for some time and there is a clear level of understanding between the two companies,” says Sussman. “Amadeus and Integr8 IT have now reached a point of maturity in terms of offering and position in the market. The relationship will be taken to a new level and we expect great things in the year to come.”
